Q. "Whats it like working with Celebrities?"
A. "When you meet people who you admire and respect, and they say hello, I
have to treat them as a mate, otherwise it would be difficult. They are normal
people, and I'm thankful there fans are just as co-operative, half of my iPhone
contains Music by people I've met and worked with, Its just great".
Q. "How did you get into Celebrity Photography?"
A. "It came about when I undertook a day's Photography Shoot, with Shaun
Rogerson, who came down to Kent with his Manager. But after joining Michael
Hinch as his Tour Photographer, thats when I got the bug really for Music
Photography, Since then, its been a rollercoaster, which has been absolutely
fantastic".
Q. "Is there anyone who you would like to Photograph?"
A. "There is loads, but I did turn down someone, who although wasn't famous at
the Time, and I didn't really know who it was, I do wonder - what if, because
now, that person if really famous with a massive fan base online and around
the world, in fact he would say My World.
If I could go back I would of Said Yes".
Q. "Does Photography Pay allot?"
A. "For some photographers, YES, but for a Photographer like me, NO, although
The equipment is so expensive, I have a day job as well, that helps, but Its
mainly expenses, like Travel, Accommodation and Food, that I do ask for,
and obviously I sell Images where I can".
Q. "What gives you as a Photographer Satisfaction?".
A. "If just one of my Images, makes a Fans day, and gives them a smile, or if
an Artist, Band or anyone uses them, that gives me great satisfaction, it
takes seconds to take an image someone will cherish for life".
Q. "Would you consider yourself a Fans Photographer then?".
A. "I photograph all kinds of things, but when it Comes to Tour Photography,
YES, I often think of what the fans want to see, but also what the Artist or
Band would want them to see, if that makes sense".
Q. "If a Fan wanted a Photo with their Idol at an Event, whats the best way to
get it?".
A. "Dependant on the Event, and the Restrictions, including fan numbers,
normally, I tend to work the crowd, chat to the fans, so I know roughly who would
want the photos, other than that just call me".

Our Photographer Paul grew up in the small seaside town in the south of
England, just a couple of hour’s drive from London. Growing up from the age of
Just 2 Years old, every Saturday Night was Club Night, whereby his Mother and
Uncle go to the Local Westgate-on-Sea Social Club, it was here when his love of
Music began.
"I absolutely Love a Live Band, performing on a Stage". "Seeing the Fans with
their idols, is very amazing", "Its the best Job in the world"
Armed with a camera, a photography course, a young family and a day job, with
enough money to live on today, Paul wanted to show his Flare for Photography
so back in 2002, 121 Pics Photography came about, Not as a Business, but as a
Recognisable photography name.
He is well known for his Event Photography and specialises in musicians,
bands, and Live Events, over the years He has Photographed many well known
Celebrities, and bands including: Plan B, N-Dubz, Chipmunk, The Wanted, Kid
British, Tinchy Stryder, Twenty Twenty, McFly, NVS, Mumford and Sons, Olly
Murs, Shayne Ward Stacey Solomon, Flawless, Sam Attwater plus many more,
also members of: Big Brother (Craig, Mario & Lisa), Skins, Waterloo Road
to name just a few, and other celebrities from the worlds of sport, film, and
music.
Paul is always thankful, for the opportunities given, and Trust and
Respect has never been taken for granted, Celebrities, Singers, Bands and
their Management, Trust Paul, to Photograph and Socialise without the fear
of images being used in the wrong way.
His portraits have featured in many publications in Print in Newspapers, and on
the internet around the world. In addition to portraits for Event Promoters, Press,
Magazines Over the years he has also produced artwork and promotional
images for record labels and artist management, and commercial clients.
